Members of the Winthrop Art Association come from Winthrop and other North Shore cities and towns, the metropolitan Boston area, and other states and countries.  Their backgrounds are as varied as the works displayed at all events.  The WAA is a 501c3 non-profit membership organization established to support the art community through programs, exhibits, and information. We are a non-discriminatory art organization with membership open to all persons aged 18 or older.  Our membership year begins April 1.  

We hope that you will continue to support the Winthrop Art Association as we plan future events. activites and support of the local art community.  If you are not a member and would like to join the WAA, please send your application to Dawn Mahoney, 49 Bartlett Road, Winthrop, MA 02152. 

The Winthrop Art Association has two categories of membership:  
Artist Members:  Artists are required to submit three pieces of work to the Artist Subcommittee of the Board of Directors.  Contact Dawn Mahoney at 617-846-2644 to make arrangements to show your work.  Artist members have full privileges, including the right to attend meetings, vote, hold office, and exhibit at any of the WAA shows.  
Patron Members: have full privileges, including the right to attend meetings, vote and hold office.  Patron Members may become artist members by following the above process.
